Modern Ruins

Scrambled positivity struggles to break through, hindered by contemporary distractions. Only the feeling of beachside memories finds clarity. But on those sandy shores that once provided comfort, new dangers lurk and more recent recollections of a chase supersede. Still, a hand dragged along now scarred walls recall this path that once led toward sunny days, the meaning behind this risk. But a mechanical intoxication once again rears its angry head, which thwarts such reminiscing and plummets the environs into the repetitive cycle of tragedy. Cubed Seas

This beat by KRTS maxes beach side on an asteroid resort, with multi-colored sunsets painting glitter on a shimmering digital sea. Wide open space abounds with its full atmospheric range, but a ring of notation circles round close by to keep it fresh. Rimshots and wide snaps float by over deep kicks while little cadences abound. And a melodic blanket of bass retains the warmth as warbled horns and breathy hymns allow a comfortable, safe drift. This one only streams, but meets an open inlet at the Blu sea.
