Music From the Destruction of the Rainforest

Coldcut doesn’t stick to just one genre, and these songs, in collaboration with Hexstatic, are a case in point. These songs take samples from life and make them into music.

“Timber” takes sounds from the destruction of the rainforest and weaves them into a great track. The video is edited to match the samples from the song, too.

“Natural Rhythms” takes wildlife samples for its feel. Interesting, but not as good as “Timber”. This video is also edited to the beat.

This remix of “Timber” is hot.
